CNC Machine Setter – Full-Time

Location: Killala Precision Components Ltd.

Shift: [Day/Evenings/Rotating Shift]

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable CNC Machine Setter to join our production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting, operating, and maintaining CNC machinery to produce high-quality components while ensuring safety, efficiency, and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

Set up and prepare CNC machines for production runs

Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications

Install and adjust tooling, fixtures, and machine settings

Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as required

Conduct quality inspections using measuring equipment such as, micrometres, and gauges

Troubleshoot machine and production issues

Maintain a clean and safe working environment

Work closely with production and quality teams to meet targets and deadlines

Requirements

Previous experience as a CNC Machine Setter or similar machining role

Ability to read and understand engineering drawings

Knowledge of CNC programming and machine setup procedures

Experience using precision measuring instruments

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team

Relevant technical or engineering qualification is desirable
